Time for the thousandth thread on the electronic strike zone. Technology has been there for years. Time for all games to be determined by the kids on the field.

The call on Jones was a horrible call in a critical situation in a need to answer inning.
Looks like Carolina will run away with this anyway and it won't be about the umps. But it's time to take blue out of the equation and let the kids determine the results of the game. They work way too hard to have the game taken out of their hands.

I have been calling for this. It would take out so much frustration from watching these games.

While you are correct, this board would lose it the first time there was a close call against us at Alex Box. Because we usually get favored on those. Just saying.

This is such a no-brainer decision. There is no reason for something as well-defined as a strike zone to have the pitch-to-pitch variance that human umpires have. It’s the easiest use of cameras ever…nothing moves. One small adjustment by an operator to account for batter height (top and bottom of zone) then you get perfect accuracy every time.

Well some of them claim Trav doesn't care and has given up. For the second time this season. So, arguing with an inanimate object would be child's play for those window lickers.
