LSU hired a DL coach as their head coach.

And Clemson hired a

Did he previously win 3 conference games in 3 years in his last crack at head coaching? The two simply aren't comparable

No genius he was a WR coach, please try and pay attention and on point.

He did go 9-5 his first year and 6-7 the following.

Stick to your schtick...you're great at it!

Houston Nutt is more qualified for this job. Let that sink in.

You really don't get it. Clemson took a chance on a first time coach and it ended up paying off.

Ole Miss did the same with Orgeron and it was a failure.

LSU then hired Orgeron

The two situations aren't comparable. Orgeron has shown his colors previously and we still hired him.

I agree with you PK. I'm looking forward to LSU improving as the season moves along. I think we beat auburn and florida and end up where we are supposed to be. I honestly believe this team will imlrove drastically in the next few weeks. Jmho, and I know alot of you will downvote this but who gives a shite. Geaux Tigers!

Absoultly right, with miles buyout plus O's its like 8. 5 million per year. A new coach won't be here until 2019 if Lsu falls to 6 or 7 win seasons

Let’s try to be positive and not crap on the team, coaching staff, AD, players, and School President 24 hours a day for the entire football season. Like others have said, the players do read this board, and all of the insults to the coaching staff is not helping any part of the situation.

yet all you ever did was shite on a coach that actually accomplished great things at lsu.

I get it just fine. You hate the hire and you're still whining about 10 months later.

He's the coach and will be until he shits on his 2nd opportunity. Stick to the agenda and continue to cry....you are part of the problem around here, not me. When we lose another game, and we will lose another game, you and the rest of the window lickers can all say we told you so. No matter who would have been hired there would have been attrition and staff changes....the end result would not be much different than it is at this point. What, maybe we are 4-0 and not 3-1? We scored a few more touchdowns in our cupcake schedule?

Was our defense still not going to be young across the board this season?

Do we still get the freshman impact players that we got?

Does Maea suddenly decide to classwork and not follow his older brother to Hammond?

Are we playing 3 interior lineman that are new to their positions?

Does Aranda and Corey stay? What about Austin?

Bottom line is this: nobody knows how this season or next season will end up but one thing is for certain, change was needed and it happened. Whining about the hiring process and eventual hiring of Eddie O does no good at this point, that time was 10 months ago. Jimbo didn't want to come back here and Herman said NO. It would be wise to shut up and hope like hell he is who says he is and he can help turn this team into what we all want.....or at least some us.
