The debate about O reminds me of when I got a position another guy wanted really bad. When he found out he didn’t get it he was pretty upset and blamed a guy who a hiring committee called for a reference. The guy who didn’t get the position asked “why did you tell them anything negative?” The guys answer was: “I answered their questions honestly and you just better be glad I didn’t tell them the real pile of crap you left here when I got here to replace you.
