we won despite him... just like Miles... we had the talent.. anyone could have won..
Looking at the last 4 years, does this argument hold water anymore?

Don’t downvote me, but I’m partial to Les’s pregame speech. The “play for victory” speech still fires me up

Getting empathy and pointers from Ed must really grind BK's gears. Glad it's happening, because BK's extreme self-confidence and prideful nature is what he'll care about the most and will motivate him as we move to the back half of the season.
Don't want to get clowned by the media, fans, and Ed (of all people)?
Win.

all i know is LM and O teams were ready to run through brick walls when they ran out on the field. BK teams look asleep through the 1st qtr and generally fall behind then wake up in 2nd half. Out of curiosity i checked sec games under BK yesterday and we were losing at half 16 times, tied 3 times and winning at half 13 times since he has been here...either bad gameplans or team not ready

We won despite them
I keep hearing this crap. Yea we won a natty. I would take Orgeronn over Kelly any fricking day. He brought in one the most talented rosters at lsu. Coach did not finish well but look at the circumstances as to why and take him out of the equation because most of the problems were not just his problems.

Kelly had Jayden, BTJ, Nabers and one of the more talented OLs LSU has had in years. The fact that he didn't have the right coach or talent on defense was on him in the era of the transfer portal. The system is designed so that big programs with resources can turn things around quickly if you know how to navigate the portal and manage resources.

You'd be surprised. Many extremely talented teams never win it all due to just flat-out dumb coaching.
And he did play a major role in recruiting some of the biggest studs we had on that team. So he does get some credit.
