-1st day of the 4th quarter program takes place at 3pm. Believes they perform better after the rest in the morning.
-Used to be at 6 am but Pete Carrol said you never play a game at 6 in the morning do you?
-Dicussing the McNeese game against Incarnate Word and the upcoming McNeese vs Southeastern game
-Jake Peetz and Daronte Jones are fired up young guys with a lot of energy. Can't wait to see Andre Carter on the field with these kids.
-Football school was yesterday. Teem meetings, unit meetings. Going over details of outside run play that they didn't run last year but will this year. 6am they're going over details of the blocking scheme
-Last year of field goals over 50 yards special teams was 5/6. Very proud of that and coach McMahon
-Took leadership committee out to dinner. Everyone getting to know each other better. Get all the coaches together to bond.
-Myles Brennan is the guy. Austin Deculus and Liam Shannahon on the academic counsel all A's & B's.
-Andre Anthony the clear leader on defense. Ali Gaye coming along as well as Damone Clark.
-BJ and Max are the young guys that are showing leadership
-Got some youngsters that have been on the line since the 17-16 game in the Swamp
-33 players on this roster have started a game. Most live experience roster O has ever had
-Last two games last year has bled into this spring.
-Weight room is rocking and Moffitt loves what he's seeing
-Recruiting class + returning starters + new coaches has the new energy in the building

I feel like 33 is not that many, but admittedly I've never counted in prior years.
Live experience could mean special teams and blowouts. Feel like we would have more guys get in on plays in those situations.
ETA:
He edited to "started", which makes sense.

Agreed. I bet 33 have at least started one game.

Brennan—the guy for leadership or as the starting qb?
Posted on 3/2/21 at 11:05 am to CatfishJohn
Pretty sure I heard them say 33 have starts under their belt

“Outside run plays” Oh snap boys the toss-dive is making a comeback!

You're correct. Updated

Need someone that can put their foot in the ground and get downhill quick. Can't help but wonder if they have Emery in mind.

Emery better make his move quick. There are a couple of freshmen coming in who can.

The toss dive is not an outside run. Just FYI.

This season is setting up well. We just need one more thing for success: a full stadium with no limits on tailgaiting.

I just remember Edgerrin James running that so well for the Colts years ago. Emery's that size but faster. When that play is effective, it opens up those downfield shots as well off of play action.

I'm a Colts fan, was one of my favorite players growing up. I still have a Colts pennant with him on it.
Those teams with Manning, James, Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, and Marcus Pollard were fun as hell to watch.
The later teams with Joseph Addai, Dallas Clark, and Brandon Stokely were great as well
