Sorry it didn't work out the exact way you thought it should. I'm not upset that it didn't go exactly the way I was told, you shouldn't be either.

Henry would have been outstanding.

Tommie is a homerun hire.

Will wait and give Joseph a chance.
Somewhat odd to me that it was not David Johnson instead but ok.

Would love to have Joe Robinson back as ST coach if the 10th position coach is approved.

Johnson was the 2nd name I was told when they started being concerned about not having anyone on staff with Nola ties. That led to Joseph. I would have liked Henry as well but I'm not in position to make those choices obviously.

I never heard Powell mentioned. That's not to say he wasn't considered but if he was it wasn't info that was passed to me.

Pretty stoked about Robinson though.

Agreed.

Stoked about Tommie Robinson.

Wait and see on Mickey Joseph but the Joseph family is a legit football family.

Can some of the NOLA posters tell us how Mickey Joseph will be viewed or received by the New Orleans area high school coaches.

apparently money was an issue on the biggest names here....it's pretty annoying knowing that was a factor

Re money, very few if any colleges can compete with NFL money, for any position, let alone a regular staff member, & that was supposedly the issue.

I figured eventually it'd be an issue but O doesn't make the most. I guess the highest paid coordinators is about what equates the difference here for his services as head man.

What makes you think I'm upset? I'm just calling out the silliness of saying it would be announced within 24-48 hours on Friday, and again today.

The fact is that I'd rather it not be rushed. There's been so much upheaval over the past year, this is the only time when time hasn't been an issue.

Gotcha. I'll refrain from passing that info on in the future.

Joseph is a good coach he and his brother are almost legends in N.O. but I don't know how that translates to recruiting. Has anybody heard how he's done at Tech. I haven't heard of him pulling athletes the way Hull has.
