Should be a top 5 D in the country...better than this year, barring injuries.

I'd be shocked if we gave up any points all year.

LSU has built some nice depth on the defensive side of the ball. Getting there on the offense.

Joseph is better at safety than corner imo.

I think we see a lot of 2 DL with a heavy rotation of RL/BF/GL as long as Chaisson and Divinty stay healthy. Getting Stevens on the field as that extra Lb/Safety is going to be great next year.

I see a glaring problem. Where are you going to fit Sopsher into this chart?

This looks really good on paper.

I know Shelvin played better towards the end of the year but Lawrence, Feheko, Logan is a good front 3 too. They'll use that formation a good bit.

Stevens, Monroe, and Joseph may move around some but they will get significant playing time somewhere.

Taylor would definitely be a help at LB.

Assuming Aranda comes back and Stingley is as advertised, this could be an absolutely fantastic defense.

As rich as that is, I’m still disappointed we can’t secure depth behind Chiasson at Buck.

Maybe we pull some magic in Feb???

Can’t take it that far yet, since we have no idea what we have in Cotton, Livingston, Jenkins.

Pretty solid TWO deep, with high expectations from Stingley, Brooks, and Ika.

Joseph doesn't move back to safety when he's as it stands the second most talented cover corner after Fulton going into next year. Simple as that...

Moving your second or third best talent at corner to safety where you have 4 guys that are all way farther along at safety than Joseph could be at this point. One of whom is potentially the best safety to have ever played at LSU and will before it's over go down as being one of if not the greatest to ever play the position at LSU. That's just the first hurdle to playing time for a safety prospect...Let alone the host of former highly ranked national prospects that all were seen as the next great in their own right... But none of them can play corner....and Joseph can....at a high level too...so there is about zero possiblity that he moves from corner to anywhere else. A d if you think that he does go to safety then you are just ignorant of the team and it's needs next year.

I'd put Kary Vincent over KJ as of now. KJ has the ability to have more impact with his size and physicality but if theres a receiver that needs to be locked down give me KV over Joseph. Not saying that cant change.

I would have to imagine if we land Ish he bumps Neil Farrel behind Lawrence right??

That’s a scary looking defense as is though!

Gosh if the offense comes through and gets a lot better and is able to control the LOS and play very balanced, we are going to be very good baws. We will be able to compete with Bama
