Totally different kind of 'hitter.' Antoine was much more of the classical pure hitter but I'm talking about Crews as an all-around force. Think Tony Gwynn vs Mike Trout.

I'm not ready to go as far as saying he'll be the best ever but I will say he's going to be something by the time he leaves, barring injury.

I'm really liking his play and he's got a swing that's going to be a force.

It was a rhetorical question because I knew it wasn’t many. That post was ridiculous.

I think you're right; I've been buying his autographed cards off ebay for $10-20 a pop; he's special

Heard the hype on him and first AB I saw he lined a double on the first pitch. That swing was so level, relaxed I immediately said that is a hitter like Raph Rhymes but with power. We just gotta get guys in line up to protect him.

If this is the case the kid needs to abandon this sinking ship.

When Beloso heats up we could be real good, also nice to know we have a kid who can get that 1 run in the close games we will have this year

There is a very short list of 18 year olds that can hit a baseball 420 feet to the opposite field power alley and only one of them is playing college baseball.

I like it. When he gets a fastball to hit he doesn't miss it.

Crews and Morgan need to switch in the batting order. I like having a veteran in Beloso protecting Crews. I think 1-5 is solid especially if Arnold builds off of this last weekend. If they get decent production out of 6-9 it could be a very good team.

Crews is a man amongst boys as a freshman.

Also has over 600 on base percentage, what?

He is a really mature hitter and I think he already understands he won’t get many in his time at LSU so he better not miss them when they come.
