Duke Football coach just turned down Tennessee

According to Rivals radio 8:00 A.M., David Cutcliffe has decided to stay at Duke.

There is still a good chance at this point that the next HC hire at Temm will make a strong push for Chavis. The new HC may very well have a want.

Cutcliff prob has it made at Duke and will prob make them a 7 or 8 win bowl team. All with no real pressure from fan base. Smart move by him IMO.

I think he definitely has a want. He just needs a little excitement to pursue that want and see it too fruition.

Perhaps it's not as easy as some would like us to think to replace a HC.

Sometimes I think it all bout the right opening popping up at the right time for the right coach.

Absolutely. If he gets them bowl eligible he'll be a legend there. If you're not winning national titles at Tennessee, you're going to be run out of town. And sometimes, even if you have (Fulmer).
