The bottom shirt (Oregon) is perfect game day attire as it can certainly act as a base layer (temps can be cool in the PNW) which is very handy (base layer) should your team suck on that particular day and you wish to hide your identity.

I gotta go with number two.
Well stated. There are too many advantages with the non-collared attire.

It can make a HUGE difference when you are criticizing the opposing fans shirts while you watch your team get an arse beating.

Agreed.
There is no "tiger fan uniform"
Just show your colors and be a damn fan.
Wear it loud and proud baby

We have to re-think this.

Some dude got called on for his collared shirt. Unacceptable! This shite needs to stop!

Precisely, and they can be easily reversed.

One more thing to note in this satire of men's football fan fashion is that Northwest folk drink microbrews which are darker than the water-beer Southerners usually enjoy. SPilled microbrew tends to blend better with earthy tones.

I tend to agree with those hippies on that one, but they are bonkers on Jones Soda & Pepsi over Coca-Cola, Dr Pepper, Barqs, and RC.

Hey, I usually drink Abita/Sam Adams level brews or smaller.
At least when I have money.
It's been a while since I had to start out on the cheap stuff

Another advantage they have.

The color of your beer should ALWAYS match what you are wearing. We just don't get this AT ALL.

One question though: How do you sip a beer? This could be a game changer for us.

Never had jones soda.
Not much of a cola guy, unless I'm mixing it with liquor.
Damnit, it's been a week since I've had any alcohol whatsoever.
Screw this pain.
Time for another hydrocodone

Since microbrews are the PNW version of the South's collared shirts and polo's, they should be sipped slowly. Any snooty microbrew drinker knows it's not the taste of the beer, it's more about how many people the label impresses. If it's some new label that contains both a color and a regional landmark, you are definitely going to impress the microbrew snobs. Kind of like men's fashion.

You should never ruin good liquor by diluting it with....anything.

It's turned into a brew discussion,

No one needs to justify what they drink or don't IMO.

It's when people are judging that it matters - and using it as a crutch to justify themselves.

If I care about your "collar-status" then shite - frick me.

I pour my brews In a flagon, tankard, stein, frosted mug, or pilsner.
I just end up peeling off labels.

Kinda how I feel. When I start caring what other men wear, or caring about what they think of what I am wearing, it's time for a visit to some he man reeducation camp.

The beer snobs would be so disappointed. How the hell are they supposed to judge you?

The most important thing in life is to be fashionable and impress your friends.

I know you get it.

Admiral nelson ain't "good liquor"
Well, it's good, but it ain't fancy.
Doesn't need to be.
It has a Job to do and it does it well
Same for Svedka.
Or finlandia.
God I miss my booze
Now "good liquor" I sip.
I've got some 21-year balvenie that is top notch
