They’re 10-4 in the SEC. Would anyone not have taken that at this point? I would’ve signed up for that before the season.

Bad baseball team. Jay has all the resources to make LSU a monster. That Tennessee coach is better

This shitty offense won't stand a chance against Arkansas or Tennessee. Jones better get his head screwed on right or they're in trouble.

I just read like 5 pages of your post history and you post something negative in literally every single post. You really think we aren't hosting a regional?

There's no question that Vitello is better.

Is that how you get your jollys? That's sad.

Every team has a bad weekend every year. It happens, for some reason they have our number besides last year, they won 4 out of the last 5 series with us.i wouldn't be concerned about the hitting until it happens for a few weekends in a row. Pitching is better than we thought it was two weeks ago though.
I actually feel that we're capable of winning low scoring games after last weekend and this weekend..the runs given up by Anderson were flukey and eyanson is a good pitcher. If shores throws well tomorrow I'll feel pretty good about the team going forward because the offense will bounce back

Vitello and Tennessee are in the same boat as us.

You really think we're not good? That's being a prisoner of the moment. We swept Oklahoma who won there series already this weekend. We played Texas as close as you can with only winning 1 of 3 and we've won 31 games with a top 5 offense ,pitching, and defense in the sec and are tied for 3rd in the league ,I believe.
That's not a bad team, the pitching has been fine and the bats have just gone cold after a long road game stretch. Everyone is having bad series occasionally
occasionally besides texas and arkansas but they both lost today too.
I think some people don't understand how the sport usually goes or just likes to melt .
Vitello lost to a and m last series and lost today. He's won one championship at Tennessee and jay has one here. Vitello has other cws appearances and jay has other appearances, jay was in the final for the championship and lost , I think vitello only went once to the championship series.
The players jay found in the portal have been our best players this year beside Anderson who he recruited
Yall got to understand that we're going to have bad stretched occasionally. Just get enough wins to host and if we can win the series against Tennessee or arkansas we will likely be a top 8 seed

They are in the same boat as us because they also lost a series and lost today. They lost to a much worse team though. Texas series was close and we could have took it if we knew who our best pitchers were at that time
We could have won if we had Evans in the second game .
Jay has won at two different schools, he's won pac 12 championships and won the natty here ,he also was in the final at another school
Tennessee has the same record as us and lost today, they are in the same boat as us at this time ,this year.

Not really a bad thing when your freshman have been good as well and he always gets the players that are universally thought of as the best high schoolers.
Nobody at the top schools are trying to find diamonds in the rough. He's beating teams for players that everyone is after

The roster is full of the players that vitello and schloss went after. Most are getting better yearly. Talent and development hasn't been an issue. It's just gotten to the point where you just have to hope the 5 stats in your region end up being better than the 5 stars in other regions
All of these staffs are developing players because they have the money to hire the people to do it

I understand, but aggie is worse than auburn . We lost 1-2 to Texas and played pretty well against that great team on the road.
I'm just trying to point out that the top teams in the conference includes us and one miss too actually . I think it's arkansas,Texas, Tennessee, ole miss and georgia that are good enough to host . The very top is texas and arkansas and they may be a little above the other 3 .

I really don't see them crushing us here. Go take a look at what they've been doing on offense the last couple weeks..not really scoring a whole lot either and the pitching last weekend for them is worse than we've been at anytime this year.

Win tomorrow and we should be ok .we're only two back and we get arkansas and Tennessee still.
I feel good against Bama at home . We could sweep if we played great, they are about the same as Oklahoma, who has bounced back in a big way after last weekend and this last midweek game .
Bats will turn around eventually, they always do. Were plenty talented enough to do that . We may need to adjust our approach though. We need guys to play similar to stanfield,he's clutch and never tries to hit a homer.
I'm sick of these huge cuts at the ball with 2 strikes. Were not a power hitting team really, just put the bat on the ball with 2 strikes

Long way to go but it’s funny JJ isn’t far from a hot seat. Don’t get out a regional 2 years in a row and watch out.
he’s not close to a hot seat.

You can't tell the stupid ones anything,on here. They usually don't watch the games even. For some reason the most optimistic posters are the ones that are the most knowledgeable and the ones that are in the midweek game threads, when were up.
When were down in the midweek they flock to the game threads but are nowhere to be found if we're winning.they flock to the game threads when were losing on the weekend too, but it's just more obvious in the midweek game threads because theres a smaller group of people in those threads

The guy that's posting about the hot seat probably doesn't know anything about Jay's past and is just evaluating him on his job here.
Even if he only ever coached at LSU he's still not on any hot seat.
Hell he's not even close because he brings in the best freshman and transfers. Even if he was terrible on GameDay hee would still be far from being on the hot seat.
