My guess is they would start it around 3 on fri followed by a 30 minute break and the next game

I'd be down for that. I'm hoping for rain Thursday and a doubleheader on either day.

Not really. Why should some series get 4 days to play and others 3?

my reply of great rule referred to having to play the double header on friday as opposed to saturday. it didnt have anything to do with sunday. although i see no problem with them playing on sundays either.

You'd rather play 2 7 inning games as opposed to 2 9 inning games?

apparently there is a rule that says the series has to be completed in 3 days. So, i guess bad weather thursday AND friday would lead to cancelling one of the games?

I wanna play tomorrow. I don't wanna have to sit through 18 innings in one day when I could be outside the gate drinking beer.

Fine. But it sure would suck if a team lost out on a title by 1/2 game because they couldn't make up a game of a Fri-Sun series, while a team that played a Thurs-Sat one could. That's why the rules are like that.

i would rather play two on Saturday as opposed to Friday. If Saturday has to be 7 innings, i'm fine with that.

Yes if we couldn't play either day, you would play 2 7 inning games on Saturday.

No. They should be allowed to play 2 9 inning games on Saturday as well. The rules are apparently written retardedly since they just assume every series ends on sundays when one series ends on saturday every weekend and all of them end on saturday the last weekend.

Good foresight SEC.

Sat tripleheader will start at 3am because ESPN wants to televise the noon game and Fla has a travel curfew

What a joke

If TV wants to move games so bad than let Sun be an option on these Thur, Fri Sat deals.
