Jackson is better than D.Thomas. Savion Smith is going to be a safety/NB not a true corner like Jackson

Y'all, he is cleared. He has been participating in summer workouts with the team. Already got everything squared away

I mean Jackson isn't really a true starter at any position. His best quality will be as return specialist. May be too small to play corner against elite SEC receivers. Too small to take hits at running back. More of a gimmick at WR as his best option.
Skyler Green senoir year 126 rushing 268 receiving. I could see similar numbers for Jackson. Doubt he gets more than a handful of carries.
Did you actually watch him on defense last year? He improved over the course of the year and had a few Honey Badger moments. He will be a slightly less effective Honey Badger II, given the opportunity.

Personally I would like to see tolliver and smith on the outside at 6'2 and 6'3 and let white play slot in nickel.
Personally White did not come back to play nicke slot coverage...
You're lighting this thread up.

So you want him to be Adoree Jackson?
He could be, but Miles does not put Adoree Jackson type faith in any of his players, except Heisman quality running backs. For any player to reach his full potential, he must be given confidence that an error will not end his opportunities. That he has full support of his coach to exploit his talents. Adoree Jackson has no fear when he plays. Many LSU players play with a fear that has been transferred from the head coach. Fear of failure, which will limits your reaching your full potential regardless of your innate abilities. Fear robs you of your explosiveness, your spontaneity, of your reaction time.
On defense, LSU has generally played without fear. That side of the team is generally in the hands of the defensive coordinator, rather than Miles. Under Chavis, the defense seemed to only play in fear in the last few minutes of a game, when trying to protect a lead. Not sure if the conservative philosophy on defense at that time was Chavis or Miles' philosophy of playing not to lose rather than playing to win.
LSU has had swagger on defense because they do not play in fear. Offense, under Miles, is another story. Miles de-balls his QBs and instills in them a fear of failure. A fear of the turnover. A QB that is afraid of turning the ball over is a QB that will never reach his full potential.
