We have tried to use him a couple of times, we also have him on kickoff return. His problem is that he seems to go down at first contact. I like Guice doing screens and sweeps better.
But he has looked pretty good on defense. He may not be quite on time or in the right position at times, and he can get abused 1-on-1 against veteran receivers. But his acceleration is absurd and he can make up for his mistakes by simply being fastest player on the field.

I could give two shits about how they use Adoree Jackson. USC is garbage, and LSU is one of the best teams in the country. We are fine regardless.

I hear what your saying. NOt sure Donte is the same kind of athlete Adoree is at this time. But LSU was doing some of those things against Auburn involving more players but just seemed to get away from it the last couple of games for some reason. I think we pick it back up this weekend against USCe and get the offense rolling again.

yeah that's been a thing the last few years with this LSU offense is we leave so much potential unused on offense. So much more we could be doing with these guys, see little glimses here and there of what could be with this offense. Its very frustrating for the fans but even more so for the players. I'm sure even Fournette would love to see this offense running on all cylinders as it would open up even more running room for him plus he would be able to showcase his pass catching skills as well.

Yeah, that powerhouse passing attack where AJ had 3 catches for 3 yards. Simply awesome. Except they lost to a terrible Washington team at home. 
Seriously though, DJ is still adjusting to the speed of the college game. Hopefully he catches on by mid season and is rolling by the end just as we enter the CFB playoffs.

I don't think Donte is an ankle breaker type of runner. He needs a gap to shoot through, then he's gone simply because he's the fastest player on the field. He would do much better ok KOs if he could get some goddam blocking, but I don't think he's quite like Adoree

Fournette kills defenses. He not only scores but he demoralizes them by posing a touchdown threat each time he touches

I think we are overlooking how well he has performed as a DB as a true freshman. He has been solid in run support despite his size.

Shut up. Seriously. You know nothing about football. You have legitimately have Lebron James linking up. Screw anything else. People talk about what happens when you stop LF. They didn't stop him against LF. We took a playoff team to OT with our O last year. Beat it. Give me one of the best teams against ours in a fight. I'll take our chances. There's a reason we don't try to pass. Our schemes even those that our basic can't be stopped. Show me first that you can stop it before I worry about it.

as of right now, donte has track speed. adoree has football speed.
