trindon wiki
Yes he did check the track stats section. But yal aren't takin into account that he was 5'5 doing that. If he was just 5'11-6'0 he'd be the fastest man in the world he's gotta take twice the steps as everyone. Bolt is a foot taller than this man. Imagine if trindon was 6'5. Unreal.

100yards is shorter than 100meters by almost 10yards. 100meters = 109.361yards

Cannon still ridiculously fast though

Most sprinters are like 5'10-6'0 and jacked up, built like football players... That's what makes Usain Bolt such a freak. He's not built like typical sprinters are, he's built like a long distance runner. And being taller means he has a higher inertia rate of his legs during acceleration, takes him longer to get to full speed, which is a disadvantage especially in the 100m because the start is so important. But in the 200m, it helps him because he can hold that speed longer and decelerate at a slower rate than the shorter sprinters. But the dude ran a 9.58 in the 100m. Freak.

If Trindon was 5'10-5'11ish, he would probably be faster. But there's no way of knowing what his speed would be if he was 6'5.

Trindon was a track star that played football. Donte is a true football player that just happens to be fast

that was all pre electronic timing. Better add some time for that. Also completely forgot those guys were running 100 yards and not 100 meters. Big difference,.

That time has a 3.8 mph wind. It's not a legal time

think the wind has to be under 3.0 for a legit legal record time. 3.8mph probably cut his time by .1 Would have been a high 10.3 or low 10.4 if not wind aided.

You sure he is the record holder? I was there when Bradley Sylve of south plaque-mine won it and they said he has the new state record. Was like 10.24

No, Bradly Sylve ran a 10.49 at the state meet his senior year. Maybe a meet record for 2A, not sure, but not in the same category as Donte. Donte would smoke Sylve.

HOw wind aided though? 3.8 is just .8mph over the wind speed for a legal time (3.0). If he had the wind at his back on a normal Louisiana breezy day for some race (10-15mph) that would greatly help his time. Sylve ran a 10.49 on the same track with a .8 mph wind in his back, (I know not much of a wind) but 3.8 isn't much of a wind either. Probably saying smoked is a little strong, but Sylve couldn't hang with Donte on the track IMO.

Can someone put that in perspective of a 100 yards? What would that translate to a 100 yard dash?
