This whole thing has gotten way out of control. It is such the "in" thing to say the name Paul Mainieri and the phrase "throw under the bus" in the same sentence. All the cool internet kids are doing it. Deal with it already. People get pissed because Miles and JJones don't say anything, yet people turn around and get pissed because Mainieri says too much. I hope he holds true to his promise to not say as much to the media so some of you assholes get what you deserve.

Yes because that's who needs to be taught the real lesson in all of this. The LSU Fanbase.
Not the coach who publicly trashed a kid and singularly blamed him for a loss in a team sport before taking any accountability as a coach.
Not the media who simply asked a question about what happened and got an answer and reported it, who then later provided an unedited, long-form video as evidence to show they were not-in any way-altering the context of the quote.
Not the head coach, who less than 12 hours later said the exact opposite thing that he said unambiguously the night before.
But the Fans. The Fans are who should be punished in all of this. The Fans who have supported this team at home by virtue of making LSU the NCAA attendance leader for over 20 years straight. The Fans who make everyone from Omaha to Columbia Missouri realize that we are the greatest tailgaters and Baseball Supporters in this Sport at this level.
The FANS should get what they deserve and get punished here.
