Y’all think we will have an sec running game to lean on with this group of backs??

I think we won't need to lean on the RBs if our QB play is good enough.

he could outrun SEC LB's/DB's.

No, he couldn’t

Guice had the 5th fastest 40 (4.49) at the combine. Only one LB in the combine posted a faster 40.

Nice try.

Guice has the longest rush in LSU history.

Guice has 3 of the top 5 single game rushing totals in LSU history.

Guice is the fastest back in LSU history to hi 1000 yards.

none of this happens if you cant outrun LBs and DBs
2016 Guice could take it to the house. Didn't see that in 2017, and yes I know he was hurt. Remains to be seen if he regained that, because I never saw that he did.

Helaire looks like a scatback. Guy like that could have a good season if the OL is strong, and he can dart through some small holes. Our OL is questionable on that front.

Risky proposition. We open against an opportunistic defense; the best way to beat them is to play it fairly safe and bang away right at them.

Pushing a transfer QB and a bunch of new WRs to go pass-heavy against them, and hope we don't mess up a couple times, that seems like playing with fire. All it takes is one bobble or bounced pass to really flip the game. And remember, that's going to be game 1, so very little chance to get the timing down.

I thought Clyde showed a lot of promise in the spring game. He made two plays that left me impressed. The first was when it was he and Devin White in the hole and made him missed. The second was the touchdown run where he tried to bounce it outside and couldn't get there. he stopped and cut it up field, broke thru a tackle and scored.
