Bad boss-you look for a new job and once you've found one, you turn in a notice and show class by allowing that company to minimize your leaving by looking for a replacement.

Bad wife-You do whatever you can to reconcile and if you can't, you go through a process of divorce. You don't just get on a plane and leave at the first sign of trouble.

Honestly if you think this is an out-of-touch view, you are part of the problem! It's called being a responsible adult! These kids are leaving because they think they will not have to suffer any repercussions. If they all quit knowing that they would not be ale to play again next year, most wouldn't do it. Again, NOWHERE in my OP did I absolve O for creating this atmosphere and by paying for it with his job. I just think it's hilarious that people on here that want to be mad at kids for quitting but want to be madder at O because they did!

Do you believe in quitting? There are ways to separate from a ad situation without QUITTING! Kudos for your support of these kids that are QUITTING! They appreciate your support.

I agree and I said in OP that CEO should lose his job over this. CEO is about to reap what he has sown and it will be severe. What is going to happen to these kids? They are going to have a bunch of "adults" re-enforce the idea that quitting on something because it ain't making them happy is an acceptable option to pushing through. I know this is a bad thing to teach young adults...it's not an opinion.

These kids are getting participation trophy’s but that’s not even good enough these days..so I guess if you don’t win another National Championship then it’s best to quit and move on...Yes, that’s the solution to the problem.. this is another Gene Chizik AU situation...soon this team will be competing against the Sun Belt conference teams trying to get to the Independence Bowl...yes, we’ve been down this road before...

You know that the upvote counter will show us how many alt accounts you operate, Derek?

And those are?

Crew members aren't going to go down with the ship due to the Captain's incompetence. You call it quitting because you're only invested in LSU. These players probably see it more as simply moving on, and that's their prerogative. It's their future.

If it is so systemic then why isn’t it happening all over CFB? What are you talking about?

You know for sure they haven’t put in effort all season to get a change? Think Bama was the first sign of trouble? Lol

Don't blame Orgeron? Why aren't these kids quitting or transferring in masses at other SEC schools? Orgeron is the problem.

Systemic failures is on Ed O (the millionaire in charge if keeping this together), not the 21 year olds.

Congrats. You’ve turned into the old Bastard who used to yell at you to “turn down that damn music you hooligan”.

Ever generation thinks the younger generations are terrible.
