I think with where our staff is on rest, I’d pitch in reverse with Saturday going with Little, moffitt and anyone who hasnt pitched. See if you can steal 1. If not, you still go Floyd on Sunday and Ack on Monday with with everyone. Sucks to give one up but we may can out hit them.

They aren't going to just forfeit game 1 by pitching Little.

Instead of pushing Floyd up a day. Game 1 means nothing. Game 2 and 3 mean everything. You’re not forfeiting. Little may hold his on and we out hit them. Point is got to win 2 any way possible

Just when I thought little was a bad idea, the next name was Moffett. He has pinched once all year and never recorded an out. Not to mention, he isn’t even on the postseason roster.

Pitch anyone but the guys listed game 2 and 3. Save your arms for the 2 you have to win.

Funny you say that… I took baseball theory from a college coach, still coaching and it’s a theory. How to give yourself the best opportunity to win 2 games.

You can have that opinion, but it isn’t really ideal. I wouldn’t expect that from the coaches if I were you. Can’t just give up a game with guys who haven’t logged an inning at Omaha. There is a reason Little, Collins, and Dutton hasn’t seen the mound. If they don’t have to use them they won’t.

This board said we’d suck because of our pen 4 weeks ago.

Maybe Little can try an inning on Saturday, but Floyd is rested and ready.

Ideal is your Florida right now. We are not in that situation. The longer your best pitchers have rest the better. Floyd may win game 1. If he doesn’t your back to winning 2 with out him.

You are beyond stupid. Game 1 means everything if you win. You play to win.

I’d rather pitch Travinski than Little.
