Saying a great distributor of the ball would help this team, isn’t saying the offense is bad, it’s saying it would make it more dynamic and harder to defend all throughout the game. It would also create easier buckets, which means more assists.

And a PG that can score but would rather pass first would do wonders for his offense

Pinson is ranked 22nd in the country among high majors in assist percentage. His assist percentage is 30.4. Gonzaga's leader last year was Jalen Suggs who was 218th in the nation at (23.7) and shot the same 3PT% as Pinson currently is -- Gonzaga had the most efficient offense in the country. Pinson is plenty good enough of a distributor.

Can you link to where you pulled statistics?

I looked at a few statistic sites and they had LSU far lower in 2021-2022. What’s good site to drill down on basketball.

Example

This has LSU offensive efficiency at 124th and 10th in 2020.

LINK

This site uses "2022" as the current season so the numbers I gave were for the 3 seasons prior to this one. It shows us ranked 161 this year and 136 against top 50 opponents.

These are LSU’s assists numbers & where they rank nationally.

Pinson has been ok. Streaky at best.

The rest of the team, not so much.

Buckets will fall at some point.

The bigger problem is the complete lack of middle out offense , post play, and lazy arse passes.

LSU is good for at least three passes a game where even the old fat white guy in the stands next to you knows better. They will be completely covered, pick up the dribble, then try to just softly toss it to someone next to them who is also swarmed.

Maybe not quite as athletic, but can stroke the three.

Be honest. You had never heard of Adam Miller until you read the responses to this thread. Comical.

I’ll get down voted, but offense has always been a problem.

You’ll get down voted because that’s a false statement.

You really can’t make some of this dumb shite up. Wade teams, until this year, were always offense dominated. How utterly clueless can these people be??

They do need role players that can shoot. You aren't wrong at all. However, you will get nothing but negative feedback on here by kids that think Wade and his 1 trny win, is a basketball god as a coach.

If you really graduated LSU in 88, then you were around for the exciting March Madness years with Brown. You can't possibly think these teams are equal to that era, in terms of March success. Also, if you really graduated 88, you know wins are nice, but college basketball is graded by March performance. Something tells me you are not nearly that old
