Yeah it's stupid.
We just wrecked shop, won all the awards, fricking SHATTERED records, and dad-dicked everyone in the postseason.

Yes.
Joe was already one of my favorite LSU players ever going into the year, and I was bummed bc i assumed he wouldn't even make All-SEC bc of Tua and thus wouldn't have his name anywhere outside Tiger Stadium

Our defense was the weak side of the ball. We ran the ball but it wasn't the core of our offense. The whole thing is just unreal.
After the Texas game I was like, "oh man Texas must have a REALLY good offense to work our D like that," and "well no shite our offense went off, shitty big12 D"
We lit up the cupcakes, which isn't something we normally do. 40ish to 7 or whatever was kind of our thing. Then we'd run the ball and run the clock out. Throwing up 60+? That got my attention KINDA.
It honestly didn't hit me that we were witnessing history until the Alabama game. We were working them over and doing whatever we wanted. The weirdest part to me is that I never doubted we'd win OTHER than the Alabama game. Even then it wasn't "oh we're gonna blow it"...it was more "alright need to tighten up because they can score"

I was browning out during the 4th quarter
I don't even really remember the win
I remember asking everyone in the hotel lobby (away for work at the time) if we actually won
And my friend had to tell me like 10 times
I woke up still not convinced and had to read all the threads on TD and watch ESPN and all that extremely hungover
Didn't totally sink in until maybe later that night

I was hammered. Had to work at 6 yesterday morning. Stayed up until 2 watching post game shite. Rolled into work still a little drunk around 7:30.

Ryan/Marcus/Booger LSU bombing everything on ESPN esp Monday night postgame
The joy that has been running through the state
Just an amazing ride. Went through some shite I don’t care to elaborate on in mid-late august right before the season started and these guys were the best source of distraction and joy, and helped me get back to where im at today. Forever grateful for this team.
