I've always liked getting UNC. Great academics and good at basketball and baseball.

If we got UNC we probably have to get Duke as well

Yes because ESPN always gets their stories right from "high ranking officials."

Just like Les was "definitely going to Michigan if offered."

I'm not saying its not going to happen but it seems that ESPN just takes a stab at these stories and if it happens then they were right all along and if not then they were just misinformed.

I read that we will probably replace Florida and play A&M each year. Bring it on baby!

Uh ... I am sure that aTm would join the SEC West and we'd play them every year anyway.

Florida is our perennial out-of-division opponent. The Aggies in the SEC West would not affect that.

I love the thought of aTm and FSU joining.

Clemson -- not really.

Missouri? Hell to the no.

Please stop it at 14, or find two other schools.

I'd be fine with Okie and Okie State.

timlan, i think the idea is that we would play our 7 fellow west members every year, and rotate the 8th league game amongst the 8 teams in the east, basically playing florida every 15th and 16th seasons. this is me guessing only, but it makes the most sense. i think bama-tenn would have a problem with this setup though.

Oh, okay. Thanks for clarifying.

I'd really prefer to have 9 conference games; your 7 west members, 1 rotating out-of-division and one perennial out-of-division.

anyone else think that this helps out texas A & M's recruiting FAR more than it will help LSU's? aTm can now easily sweep up all the great texas prospects who want to play in the SEC but dont want to leave home....

It's going to help their recruiting out a bunch, no doubt.

But I like what it does for us. Previously, aTm would not play LSU even at Reliant in Houston because they did not want to give LSU more visibility in Texas than we already had.
