Based on what? I guarantee he hasn't been working as hard as Lacature has. And he certainly hasn't had anywhere near the amount of reps Lacouture has had. This isn't a video game. You don't just plug people in and they all of a sudden play to their ability

Yeah I don't expect Valentine to even be a starter this year. If he can get us 20 quality snaps a game in the meat of the schedule that might be enough. But Lacature is a big loss.

Dont see the DL fellas injury being that impactful since you guys recently got Valentine back.

Losing a sr dline that has played since a true frosh hurts.

I don't think anyone really thinks it doesn't hurt.

However, I think the positives that we have this year still outweigh the negatives. Nobody wanted to lose these two guys, but there are enough positive factors this year to overcome those losses without it affecting the outcome of the season. I think that's the point.

Went to HS with Anthony and do not believe he was a true 3 down NT. shite, I was on the football field the day nwhen Coach Don Easterling said "He(Anthony) is gonna be a Booger to stop". Booger was in the 9th grade.

Don't care if we have a bunch of 48-45 type wins, just as long as we can effectively throw the ball enough to open things up a little.

Well thats just dumb. If you think about the past 12 years of lsu football, we've depended on defense to win games. For lsu to make the playoffs, these defense has to be stout.

LSU will not be a shootout team...that's not how they are built.
