also don't think I would let RR return punts as we need him for offense and really can't afford to have him get injured on something like that.
Here we go again...

I think Shep is a great fit to make the transition, just as Peterson did.

RR was a hell of a return man back in high school. You will see him return some for TD's next year.

I would think so. Isn't Jakari Gore supposed to be a return guy as well?

PP should have been doing returns during his whole career at LSU. One of the best returners I've seen didn't start getting his turn until his last season.

Shep has to catch the ball

Ron Brooks? Even though he's been overshadowed by PP7, he's been back there the past two years on kickoffs.

I can hear the rant bitching if this would have happened.

Were you one of the Rantards that was screaming this same line about using Pat on Special Teams this year? You want to get your elite athletes the ball by any means possible. IMO, if our offense had not been so putrid outside of SR, we might have even seen a little of PP on that side too. Didn't do any good to line him up on offense when our starting QB couldn't remember more than 4-5 plays as it was.

Chris fricking Hawkins was a good return guy in high school... That really isn't a measurable.

No way Miles trusts Shep's hands on punt and kick returns.

Ron Brooks is a below average return guy, I hope he doesn't return kick offs next year. What about Chris Tolliver on punts?

not a huge ron brooks fan on kickoff returns either .. hardly ever clears the first wave without going down .. he is fast as shite from the 5 yard line to the 23 yard line ..
