It really is unbelievable. They have beaten Boise (sux), Vandy (double sux), Memphis (no explanation needed), Tenn (sux), A&M (sux and quit), ULL (LOL).....with their only good win against a team very equal to us, at home, and barely......Yet they talk like we are several rungs down the ladder......media buying it too.....everyone looking at our young team early in the year....and not how they have developed. Adams is becoming a superstar right before our eyes....Beckwith no explanation needed.....Hunter and Kwon going into beast mode.....DL playing better...OL coming together last few games.....it is going to be a hell of a game.......can't wait to be there.

have played one team equivalent to LSU, and that is Alabama,
So you are saying LSU is equivalent to Bama????
WOW.......

The truth is that Ole Miss has played a bunch of poor teams that they SHOULD have beaten and did...congrats
The same can be said for LSU..However LSU got beat BAD by both of the quality teams they played. You keep forgetting this.........

Please quit responding to me. I told you yesterday I was done with you after you posted you are right WAY more than wrong. The comments to that post by you were hilarious...as everyone knows what you are about. Again, I'm not going to debate LSU football with someone like you...so I'll ask nicely, don't respond to my posts, and I'll refrain from responding to you.

Grow a spine then. You don't want to discuss LSU football with me cause you are a blind homer and know I am right... But if you wanna wuss-out go ahead....

Well, those teams were REALLY good. Seems like most forget that LSU blew out a Kentucky team that much of the media had a boner for.
OM has one quality win against a team that perception matters more than reality for.

people keep saying their rush defesne is 2stronk but they have played no team with a rushing pulse/o line that can compare to LSU besides bama. Id like to see how they can handle that
Did you say O-line???

on offense their strength is throwing the ball, their weakness is running. that fits our defense perfectly.
on defense they like to play everyone up and their weakness is their tiny little corners. our WRs are built for deep balls and it's a throw both of our QBs make really well. plays like that spread the defense out and opens up the run game.

They gained 160 something on the ground and 220 or so in the air, but their offense put up only 10 points.
168 I believe, but then Kiffin decided to put the ball in the air, and that cost them the game
Anyone who thinks LSU will not be more committed to the run than Bama was is fooling themselves.
Don't look beyond what I'm saying, but know this to be fact.
Bama put the ball in the air 31 times which LSU will not. Bama had success on the ground and off playaction. In the second half (with a lead) Bama threw the ball 14 times, you can bet LSU will not. In the second half Bama had one drive end with a missed FG, one end due to a penalty and another with an INT.
Credit ole miss because thy made plays when they had to, but it cant be argued that LSU (like Bama) cannot line up and run right at ole miss. It doesn't mean they will because ultimately it comes down to execution but just like Bamas O line and Miss d line; LSUs o-line is strong, fast and athletic, but unlike Miss d-line, they are big too.

Other than they don't have a great RB this team seems very difficult to beat unless LSU get's at least 3 turnovers

Doesn't matter, Miss State had a weak secondary and we tried to run the ball all night!

Posted on 10/23/14 at 10:07 am to Storm22
We're going to run the ball regardless.

Average offense. If LSU forces them to throw and puts lots of pressure on Wallace, our strong secondary can force turnovers.
On defense, their defensive line has great talent, but lacks depth. Hit it over and over like an anvil and it will eventually crack in the 4th quarter.
If I'm LSU, I play smash mouth, run heavy offense with occassional play-action on first down to keep the defense honest. On defense, I blitz blitz blitz with a ML spy on Wallace. Keep the game close, play mistake free football, and let that lack of depth show in the 4th quarter when those 1 and 2 yard runs by fornette and Williams in the 1st-3rd quarters, turn into 8-15 yard runs by McGee in the 4th.

I wouldn't say their offense is average as ours
Actually you are right this time knee-jerk. They aren't as average as ours...they are a little less than average. Considering the opponents LSU has played, and those that Ole Miss has played...and considering their defense has scored more than LSU's defense...and yet they average less points per game......you are exactly right, they aren't up to LSU's offense as of now.

I suggest you go empty your bank accounts, take out loans if you have to...and bet it all on Ole Miss -3....since you are that sure that vegas has missed on this one by epic proportions....by all means...go for it...oh, and bookmarked.

without a 75 yard pick 6 its 14-0 at half.
Ole Miss scored 2 defensive touchdowns and another 10 points on drives with good field position due to other turnovers.
