I have no idea about their D v Vandy. I think the fact that the Miss St interior O line has issues = Nevis bustin shite up.

I love how dominant performance now equals 10-3 over Vandy for three quarters.

LSU NEVER drops 40 on Vandy and blows them out fwiw.

Of course. 18 - 22 yr olds..... However, if we lose to State for the first time since Butter Lundie ran the option all over us, Miles should start to update his resume.

I do not understand how people expect Miss St- who could not beat Auburn at home- to come in to Tiger Stadium, at night, in the home opener for LSU, and beat them.

Ain't happenin'.

Were you ever afraid Vandy would score more than 3 points? I wasn't. And besides...the game was 4 quarters long.

MSU will not win because they will not be able to score enough against the LSU fired up defense. I think the game will probably will close until halftime but in the end, LSU wins 24-13.

1.) It looks like we're more talented at 21 positions.

2.) I don't like what's going on at QB.

3.) Although we dominated Vandy; we only had 10 points in the 1st half.

4.) Our defense looks damn strong, BUT.....

5.) We've beaten them how many years in a row?
At some point that streak ends.

6.) Miss St isn't a bad team. They're def better than Vandy.

7.) If our QB play isn't good Sat night we will allow Miss St to hang around and possibly beat us.

8.) Do I think we have a better team? Absolutely.

9.) Do I think we could put a good whoopin on them if we have strong play from our QB? Absolutely

10.) What really happens?

LSU wins 20-9

last year has nothing to do with this year. why didn't you mention "law of averages" (also doesn't apply)?

As Tu mentioned EVERYONE has a chance. However, based on our D play so far, not likely.

I don't think AU's D is better than ours. MissST scored one TD v AU's D. 4 3 and outs one of those - 13 yds, two of them for 0 yds, one for 9. Two fumbles and a pick.

I know I know sounds like our O but our D is better than AU.

all this is true, PLUS there is often caprice da natur, luck and bad calls.

Less Miles still wants to run the ball ad nauseum, and LSU still doesn't have the O-line to do it. If you don't think that MSU's defense is better than Vanderbilit's defense, who LSU could not run the ball on for 3 quarters, then you're a complete moron. Barring kick returns or defensive TDs, this game will be a low scoring one due to the anemic offenses and will probably be less than a 1 TD separation in the end. Those predicting blowouts will be disappointed.

As much as you are looking only from the offensive side of the ball there is also a defensive side of the ball.

LSU has the 3rd rushing offense in the SEC and is getting better.

LSU has the #1 rushing defense in the SEC and is 5th total defense in the SEC.

LSU is first in sacks and is tied for 3rd in allowing sacks

With LSU keeping this streak alive will give LSU a lead it will not give up.
By keeping Vanderbilt out of the end zone in the first quarter last week, LSU ran its streak of consecutive SEC games without allowing a first quarter touchdown to seven straight games dating back to last year’s Mississippi State contest.
