Tim has been different since the Oklahoma game. I wouldn't be surprised if he took it personally that the media reacted about Simmons not having the ball late instead of him getting credit for carrying us when Simmons disappeared.
I can buy this. Quarterman has been a big reason for every good win, except the Vandy game. But Simmons gets all the attention. They talk about Simmons all game, he gets the post-game interview, regardless of his stats (and usually when he has a quiet game, the announcers talk about his "selflessness").

The players have to be aware of that, and it probably gets old by now. If it were me, it would frustrate me.

The sad thing is it is a lot of the outside stuff, from what it seems. Simmons himself looks like he's just trying to blend in and not be a diva

Body language can be pretty telling, and with Q and Simmons it seems to tell me they aren't buds. Now they don't have to be. I heard back in the day from very reliable sources Rudy Macklin and Greg Cook could not stand each other and vowed to settle their differences after the '81 season for the good of the team.

But the present relationship at least on the surface, seems to be having a more negative affect on the team.

Tim's body language in particular is often discouraging to see as a fan. The sulking and pouting. Heck against Florida he feigned an injury like a soccer player, rolling around on the ground, until Florida scored then popped up right after the goal, all fine and healthy. I didn't understand that.

yea, that was awful. I was very surprised Jones didn't rip him apart for that.

great point. For Jones to rip anybody he would first have to wake up.

Let's put it another way, if I'm the head coach, I absolutely rip TQ to shreds. We all saw what he did.

Quarterman has a problem playin with simmons. Just look at his body language when he's forced to give up ball handling duties, he pretty much just sulks."

This started in preseason practice I saw it then and have said it all year. TQ has been the biggest problem this year. PG way more valuable in the college game, always has been. We don't have one so we struggle .
