Does Hellmer get pulled on pitch count or until he runs out of gas?

I didn't hear what his pitch count was earlier in the week. Being it's a win or stay home game I'm guessing there will be no quit in the kid until he is sure he is done.

No such thing as a pitch count on an elimination game.

Whatever manager does that needs to be fired immediately.

You just monitor him until you see he's losing control, the first sign of tiring.

Hopefully he’s pulled just before he runs out of gas

Gas, definitely. We don't have much else! Gotta make him last through about 6. 7 would be a dream.

Bad thing about that is there will be idiots that will say CJJ pulled him too early if the next guy struggles.

If he can get to 8 or 9 for Gavin or Ack would be great.

That's definitely one of the signs of a tiring pitcher.
