Williams?

How is he gonna move the ball on Bama front 7?

I don't think guice breaks 100 but he'll fare better than LF. He'll try to
Avoid contact.

Also, I agree he may have more receiving than rushing yards.

If they're both on the field, I think Guice will be in the slot and it'll open up a few lanes for Williams to make a few runs.

Nothing should surprise me with Bama after how they have shut down our running game recently, but I'll be surprised if they hold Guice to 35-40 yards with a little more creative play calling. They do love to shut down an LSU RB though. They will be biting hard to stuff him on play action passes, so we could burn them if the line gives us a little time and Etling can throw with some anticipation.

I think Guise, and Etling show up big for this game. I actually feel we will break Bamas back, and rush for 250 on em, and a strong 225 yd game from Etling.

He ties LF7's career total rushing yards against Bama

Think you'll see a lot of passing to the RB's in this game again.

I don't think so. Saban's MO, a lot like Belichick's, is to shut down your strength and make someone else beat you. Saban is going to require Danny Etling to beat him. Guice's only chance will be if Etling can do enough to take the focus off of Guice. From what I've seen of Etling, he is not going to be able to do it. His arm strength isn't good enough and Saban's focus on defending the middle-in is a bad matchup for Etling.

I think he is more elusive that LF, not better, just more elusive. I think he can make something out of nothing when there is no hole better than LF. LF would take it the distance if you gave him an opening, but hoping that Guice does not need the hole the same way that LF did.

here is to hoping
