What do you think needs to happen for us to get a primetime slot rather than the 2:30 CBS game of the week? Have friends coming in for the game and weather should finally be cooler making a full day of tailgating more exciting plus they get Death Valley on a Saturday night. Told them game is probably going to be at 2:30 but am hoping for a night game though so they can experience a full day of tailgating.

Both LSU and Florida will start 5-0. Florida will be top 10 at that point and we will be top 5. But then Florida has to play Auburn the week before they play us. I think the only way CBS picks the A&M-Bama game over LSU-Florida is if Florida loses to Auburn the week before us and A&M only has one loss going into that week.

On the flip side though it would be fun having a top 10 game and college gameday on campus for a big matchup if they get by Auburn and are 6-0 coming to town on Oct 12. Don’t think there’s any chance CBS would pass up on that game though if that were the case.

Only if they lose to Tennessee or TAmu looks incredible this weekend. Then I think they’d option that week to see if Florida beats auburn. Jumbo vs saban may actually be a big enough of a draw if Florida looks bad but is still undefeated and tamu looks good enough to give Alabama a game with 1 loss to Clemson.

CBS can only broadcast Alabama a maximum of 5 times during the regular season.

They've already picked their games vs. South Carolina & Ole Miss. I fully expect them to select LSU & Auburn later this year, so they'll have to decide between their game vs. A&M or Tennessee as their final one.

If CBS wants Bama/A&M more than Bama/Tennessee, then LSU/Florida may have a chance to be at night.

It’s a win:win either way. Even if they drop one or two it’s still a revenge game

Surely they would.

I think the Auburn @ A&M game this weekend will be the determining factor.

If A&M wins, I think CBS will pick up the Bama/A&M game.

Also... Auburn @ Florida is pretty much a lock to be a CBS game on the 5th. CBS will probably avoid broadcasting two Florida games in back to back weeks.

Think that’s possible too. Hope that’s all it takes.
