He needs to continue working hard and stay in shape. He almost outrun those three Bama guys on his long run last night. I thought they would catch him around the 20, but DW surprised the heck out of me. I even made the comment in another thread that "his style didn't fit this game". Boy was I wrong.

BTW- did anyone notice that they spotted the ball on the 2 instead of the 1? That could make a big difference against Bama, and the refs knew it. But DW bowled it in anyway. Really glad for him.

I never said he would not get drafted. I said he “could go undrafted” then chose where he wants to go that has the best set up for him. He is a good back but not great speed, so he coukd easily get passed over in the draft but still make a team

He seems similar to the great Jeremy Hill and is the complete RB NFL teams love and are accustomed to getting when tbey draft an LSU back

Hope so. Great kid. A lot will depend on his combine performance and pro day.

NFL values measurables over production too often.

Nope. He runs a 4.8, very little burst and has no moves. Has been a very good college player, but skills do not translate well to NFL

He'll be drafted. He's a solid back. No frills or special effects but gets the job done.

He hits the hole with steam and authority. NFL is definitely in his future.

I would. He has had little wear in college. he has a noticeable increase in his burst this year.

He's been a steady, reliable tiger.

How can you say no burst?

Have you watched either game the last 2 weeks?

Anybody that has watched the Tigers can tell you he's been a gem since his frosh year. He shined better than Leonard at times that first year. Tough to get carries with the Holywood RB's that played in front of him. Solid workhorse.

I'll be surprised if he don't.
