For a grown man? Of course it is. If you want cheers, go to a fricking softball game.

Thankfully, he doesn't come down into the section where I sit anymore since we expressed our displeasure to him.

You see you manned up and solved the problem without resorting to pitching a bitch on the Rant.
He was blocking your view and you did the adult thng and asked him to move and apparently he did. Problem solved.

Is he not allowed to cheer?
Why?
Oh yes just for the record you aren't required to cheer with him.

Glad the majority of fans don't think like you.

Otherwise everyone will be sitting there in silence.

I am not sure it was that civil, but yes we did let him know that we were not pleased with his presence!

LOL. You probably sat in right field as a senior in high school on your JV team yelling "Hey batter batter, hey batter batter, SWING batter batter!"

Look, if you want to holler "LSU" or "Go Tigers", that is one thing, but to run around and elicit cheers from everyone in the stands as a grown man is quite another. If you do not see that, then I am not sure there is much more debate to be had.

I guess people should just sit down and be quiet at football games too?

Would you expect him to be cheering for LSU? I am pretty sure he is one of the handful of LSU fans who go to the CWS every year.

attention whore? probably so. but as far as a guy he is legit. Extremely nice. tries to help out other fans any other way he can before games with tickets, etc. Im a student who works just to respond to a previous post and he works for so chem selling chemical clean up products for plants. act is somewhat tiresome but it doesn't make me that upset. if he wants to cheer let him cheer

Yes that's exactly what I did.

You are right on one account: there is no more debate to be had.

Now go sit in the corner and be quiet like you so adamantly want to do.

Sure.

Apples to oranges, especially since there are scholarship cheerleaders there for that type of stuff.

Look, if you want to start a "Go Tigers" chant from your seat, that is one thing. To run around in front of the stands and do it is quite another. Again, if you fail to see the difference, then we should just agree to disagree.

Outside of swimming, baseball is affected least of any other sport by the fans. LSU's stadium is fantastic and the atmosphere is enjoyable, but if you think a cheer makes a pitcher throw a strike or a batter lay down a great bunt, you are beside yourself. LSU Baseball is great and we all love to watch, but you are giving yourself far to much credit, and Guillot as well, if you think cheers are winning games for LSU.

Perhaps not throw strikes or hit better. But maybe the crowd had something to do with CSF doubling their season errors in one weekend playing at the box?

And are you going to tell me the players don't like hearing the crowd get pumped and cheer for them?

Good grief man. Let people behave how they choose. If it ramps up the atmosphere, why does it bother you so much?

know him and he's a great guy. Just a bunch of butthurt fans in here who are mad that he dared cheer for a team after they beat LSU. How dare he?? Seriously some of the people in here sound like 12 year olds who just broke up with their girlfriend. Dude has tickets and can do what ever the frick he wants, which is a lot better than being slap arse drunk and cursing the whole game.

+1

Although he really pisses off the golf team when he cheers for them while they're putting.

I find it hard to believe someone from Florida can spell 'etouffe'.

THIS.

i've never been much of a fan of his, but he just shot up the rankings in my book. And if I were in Omaha for that game last year I'd have cheered hard for UCLA or Whoever Plays Florida.
