If so, what's your rationale?

If we are undefeated when they come strollin in to Tiger Stadium it will be 'game day', 100K inside, 50K outside and maybe the biggest college tv audience ever. Death Valley will be like a Frankenstein movie with sparks, arc electricity and earthquakes big and small and if we feed off all that energy we very well could send the Gators home wondering what if. Can you feel it?

Yes. My rationale is that we have a damn strong football team.

Russell SHepard throws the winning TD pass with ten ticks left on the clock to Dickson in the front corner of the gold endzone. Tiger Stadium geauxes wild, Chad Jones then picks of Tebow desperation heave to the endzone and returns it for six and we win 37-28. Atleast thats how it went down on my dynasty in NCAA 2010 , and I wouldnt mind it happening that way in real life either.

Well if it happened in real life it would mean either
A. Jefferson/Lee injured
B. Jefferson/Lee ineffective
C. Shepard looks better than both and takes over starting role

only reason I could see him under center during crunch time.

Enough logic on the rant yellow cab .

And my original thought on the play was to spread Florida wide and just run it in with Shep cause I was like on the 5 but Florida came on an all out blitz and dickson was right there so TD LSU game over .

Good thing LSU has some warm up games before Florida. We can see if
Jefferson lives up to hype
Defense lives up to hype
Offensive line comes together
We can find a kicker
We can find a punter
We can see who becomes #2/3 receiver

Yes it is
and really I do think Jefferson/Defense have to live up to hype because well hype is absurd.

Jefferson just needs to continue to improve each game and play within the offense not trying to do to much and limiting mistakes.

Defense needs to become more aggressive and increase the amount of turnovers it can cause.
I do not expect a Top 10 unit this season but anything in top 25 unit defensively is an improvement.

Finding a kicker can take all season and could cost us a game. Look at Colt missing FG vs Bama and Arkansas that could have been 2 wins even with poor QB play.

Yea my main concern for the Florida game isnt our defense. Im pretty sure we will be able to slow down Florida at home. But how in the hell in Crowton gonna move the ball on that D. Yes it can be done, but they have one nasty D.

LSU can move the ball, we did last year against them. It that they forced us into turnovers and our defense could not stop them.

Lee was not completely horrible against Florida last season, but he was behind the entire game. Considering Florida jumped all over us very early in that game. Their first 3 possessions they scored each time, was 17-0 before Lee even through an INT.

Agreed. Injuries will play a huge part in this game. Whether before or during the game. We shall see. No one knows at this point.

Seriously, If this were last years UF team(that won the championship)I would say its going to be a toss-up. But the boys down in Gainsville are absolutely loaded this year. Especially on the defensive side of the ball. .01% chance for lsu. Sorry guys.

We don't stand a chance! With that being said, I think the Tigers are going to hand them their Butts.

Homerism at its worst. Did you think you would lose to Ole Miss last year? Of course not. Spikes could be injured on the first snap against Podunk U. The season will play itself out. Good luck to no injuries and fun.

Not homerism. Like someone posted earlier, i'm just going by what I see. I think lsu has a damn good team. I even think they will win the west. I just don't think they are going to fair very well on that particular night.
