The worst part is that it didn't happen last year, and that this season has pretty much been ruined for guys like Fournette, Beckwith, White, Adams, etc.

To us it looks pretty clean cut. Unfortunately there was a whole lot of politics that played out in this. When Miles said today he did not fight it, was very telling.

I'm most happy for Coach Miles to be rid of LSU political crap he's been dealing with. And Saban knows all too well what Les has been dealing with.

He didn't fight it because he had no choice. When your employer says it's over, it's over. Saban was lord and master and got whatever he wanted. He was above politics. Your premise fails on all levels.

He should have been fired and asked to coach the rest of the year.

I think Miles was heading in right direction. He changed QB's and that was great - even though this should have been done BEFORE season started. It was not his fault that LSU made turnovers, penalties, and missed field goals that cost him his job. That's all on the players. Saddest part of all was that we were running the ball effectively and should have kept running it! Sometimes you just can't win...... I will be surprised if we get a better coach in my lifetime. Numbers don't lie..... Geaux Tigers

I would have preferred that he had been told to step down at the end of the season. So, no, I don't think he should have been fired now.

No. I do think it was three years late.
