Buddy of mine runs a giants podcast and is asking out of concern the Giants are lying about this Malik toe injury that has been nagging him since LSU days.

I did some googling and from my own mind I can’t remember anything specific

only injury I can recall was he hurt his shoulder against Miss State in 2023 but stayed in the game and still went for 250+. I guess it's possible he's always had a toe injury but it never was talked about. The articles are saying no procedures were necessary to fix it. Who knows, maybe he has a chronic ingrown toenail. Those can certainly be painful

What incentive do the Giants have to lie about a toe injury?

Boutte did have a foot injury from what I recall. Maybe there’s a mixup.

Boutte got hurt vs Kentucky when he probably shouldn't have been in the game. We were down 21 late 4th from what I remember.

Well… he had a toe injury last summer and it didn’t hurt him from being the top rookie WR in the NFL.

Giants rookie WR Malik Nabers suffers apparent foot injury
New York Giants rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers limped off the field with an apparent foot injury toward the end of practice on Sunday morning.

The severity of the apparent injury is not immediately known for Nabers, the sixth overall pick of the 2024 NFL Draft out of LSU.
Per the New York Daily News, Nabers was “reaching down and touching the top outside of his left foot” after competing in a team drill. He limped to the sideline and removed his cleat before being attended to by trainers.

Wasn't Nabers injured his Sr year in High School, preventing him from being higher rated?
Talent scouts knew is ability though.

Toe injuries can linger forever. You can keep re-injuring it over and over. You can also have residual pain even after it heals. My guess is pro-football players are always hurt in some capacity.

Boutte should be banned and removed from lsu record books he clearly threw games at lsu . His freshman year to when he started betting was such a drop off cause he started to bet the under on himself

He may have been hurt, but the reason he couldn't play is because he transferred high schools.

That's why he was a Mississippi State commit until right before signing day.

The LHSAA is run by a bunch of maggots.

Stop depriving kids of their ability to play sports.
