That's apparently the gist of it but the uncertainty of what they are clearing him of is the disturbing part. With the NCAA we knew it was an issue of qualifying. Fine. He was cleared though. So what is the issue the SEC has? And the fact it's not front and center is scary frankly. Especially with the new powers the big conferences have coming their way.

Clearinghouse cleared him and some jackass at another school flagged his transcripts/test scores to the SEC offices. No other reason other than to prevent him from starting school and participating in fall drills.
Urban bitch did the same thing to PP7 when he wanted to enroll in the Spring. After a few weeks, he was cleared, but not before the final day to start spring classes had passed.

NCAA clearance should be end of story though. After all there job is to look after the interests of the student athletes.

So I'm sure he has a balance for the moment with the school then. Without anyone having a clear idea of how long the SEC will take to clear this up do we at least know how long TV will have to attend before he can't get a Scholy for the semester as well as when he would need to drop if he can't pay the tuition for the semester?

LSU compliance screwed up and was red flagged by the SEC. That personnel has been fired!
He is cleared to practice but can not play until his High School submit further paperwork and clarification.

If it is true that another SEC School or Schools contested his eligibility, and LSU can confirm the identity of said school(s), I would love to see Les contest the eligibility of their best player for the next few years.

Well, sounds like if he doesn't get in, we'll know who he thinks it is. If he does get in, I'd imagine Les would talk to him about it and convince TV to let Les handle it.

That was before anyone realized that it was an internal issue.
Charlie Strong was in his ear daily to get him out of SEC but he stayed because of Raymond not Brick.
