I know they took the minimum wins requirement out for bowl eligibility but LSU is looking at 4-6 based on games they will be favored in va against the rest of the way.

Does that mean bowl game or no for this Tigers team?

A 4-6 LSU team will go bowling at the Skil Brushless Drill Bowl against Old Dominion.

Kidding. They'll get a subpar bowl at 4-6 against a team with a winning record from a weaker conference and be favored.

Might as well
Get the extra practice reps

There will be a ton of opt outs for all bowls

We are not playing 10 games. We may only play 8 games when Florida bitches about Alabama having a bye week before the SEC Championship game while they would have to play us.

Everyone is bowl eligible this season so if we don’t win another game we’re in one most likely

Yes we will get a bowl game. Is this a serious question?

I would hope LSU would have enough sense to turn down a bowl bid if they actually went 4-6

Pride is a bad thing. You take the extra practice days a bowl gives you. Yes, you take a bowl game invite.

So it would make more sense to turn down extra practice time, for a team who is seriously lacking experience, in a year where practice time was already taken away?

You sound like a smart one.

Do you really think LSU will bring less eye balls and fans to a bowl game then say a team like Iowa state with a winning record? or some mid major with a winning record?

Dumb. Why would you turn down 2 extra weeks of bowl practice for the young guys?

I'd like to see lsu in the Independence Bowl. Now hold on before you start shouting me down. This year is a fugazzi anyway, take a local game bid, help out the state economy, local recruiting gets a boost, and you play Army on national television.

Any other year I'd never say this. This one I do.

Every bowl can invite despite a teams record.
