Doen't McNeese have the same standards as LSU? or any at all?

I understand this is the chance to get perhaps their best player ever. But don't they have standards?
FCS or 1 AA doesn't mean fly by night does it? Yeah they took Janzen but if what he did was so bad to merit dismissal from LSU, what does this say about the Cowboys?

The kid just got the axe from one of the best teams in college football, lost any chance of meaningful awards, and will eventually not have the media spotlight on him (which for him is probably the biggest punishment). Exactly how much more do you want him punished? Let the kid play wherever he wants outside of the FBS. He deserves a shot at redemption. If he doesn't pan out, McNeese will show him the door a la Cecil Collins.

Considering he violated LSU's policy and not McNeeses's policy because he wasn't even at McNeese obviously I don't see how this is an issue. He gets a second chance at McNeese and I imagine he will be on a very short leash.

I'm sure we all wish him good luck at McNeese. I guess what ever he did at LSU is OK with McNeese or what the hell, this is their chance to get a great playmaker.

He was NOT attending any other school than LSU when he broke the rules. Can you not fricking understand that. Should no college let him attend? He gets another chance elsewhere. Got it

I guess he tested positive at mcneese when he got there. First offense, so that's his warning right.

If mcneese had the same policy as LSU then I don't see how he is able to enroll and play there. Failing multiple drug test will not allow you to play football at LSU and many other schools no matter what school you failed the drug test at.

Link? I never seen this as more than speculation and "sources". I mean no official word from LSU. Not doubting LSU put it out as official word but I missed all the drama as it happened yesterday.
It's still not any different but keep telling yourself that to make you feel better. Both offenses were immature and stupid by each of them but each deserve and are getting a second chance.

There isn't a school in the nation that wouldn't take a chance on him if given the oppurtunity. If he were less of a player then yea it would be a lot harder for him no doubt but don't kid yourself thinking just cause LSU cut him that a top 10 FBS team wouldn't take him if they could.
