The ref who waved the flag just happening to be an Auburn alumnus and booster does little for any counter-argument.

Conclusion: Get over it, there have been countless worse calls

B.S. - not all in the same game one sided against one team.

By the way, I was at the game in 2006 and after walking out of the stadium, I spoke to several Auburn fans. Every last one of them (at least 5 groups of 4-5 people) ALL said that Auburn got away with one today. Every last person commented on how Auburn had favorable calls. One guy even offered me a beer to drown out my sorrows for how he stated "the refs cost ya'll the game".

That "article" is written on a website that:

A) Asks everyone who signs up if they want to write an article for them.
B) Check the author's bio, not exactly an unbiased source
C) The author quotes the whole "auburn alum" thing as if it is known fact. No facts to back it up.

If this is true, and it has been exposed, there has to be something in the Times Picayune or the Baton Rouge paper. Actually, something this big must have made the AP wire or Sports Illustrated, I just can't seem to find it. You and others speak of it as if it is a known fact, so I must have missed my newspaper that day.

And I absolutely agree, as I told the LSU people we tailgated with that day. But this vast Auburn/SEC office/Auburn Alums that either threw the flag or was the replay official is just stupid.

I would say thay the refs have been heavily influenced, perhaps only by the crowd. I don;t know but the refs have obviouslt been influenced.

Now the guy in the replay booth 2 years ago, he was definitely cheating. No doubt in my mind that he just didn't make a mistake. He should have been fired by the SEC if he wasn't.

It was defensive holding. How hard is this?

The answer is "YES", but LSU is good enough to over come it all unless it gets sureal Saturday night....as the stock market has so demonstrated in the last two days...where institutions are concerned, ANYTHING is possible and usually occurs!

Get off the ref crap from the '06 and '04 games. If LSU would have played better they would have won despite the calls. Fact is they didn't and they lost. Get over it.

Yes he was. He was also a big booster.

How many times must this be said: No he isn't.

For some reasonm, they continue to believe the replay official was an AU booster and alum. I don't get it.

Evidence? No he was not. It started as a joke to make a point and has now become fact to the rant.

No. I think they made a lousy call. I don't think they went out and said, "let's cheat this game." Refs don't do that, but they do make bad calls.

Or eight different teams played eight full games against one of the best defensive lines in the country and not one offensive lineman for any of them committed one holding penalty. Yep, that sounds much more likely.

You woulda thought maybe all those penalties that were not called woulda helped the Tigers' opponents more..........Is there a stat database that keeps penalties for and against by team for all FBS teams?

You could've chosen better words but I'm going to go ahead and have to agree with you. If we had played better and to our potential, the refs would have been a non factor. Although they were.

NOT THIS YEAR!!!

You guys on this thread with all the conspiracy theories are a complete joke. Be happy that it is mostly LSU guys on this thread. If this was posted on other sites and teams blogs the whole nation would laugh at you guys and then think "all" LSU fans are a total joke and the biggest whiners in all of sports.
