Comments like this don't make any sense. If you're a good RB, you're a good RB. Magee has nice size to him and has breakaway speed. He definitely has the tools to be a good RB. Give him 12-15 carries a game and he will run just as effectively as he did as a "backup".

if your a starter you get more carries in key situations against better teams.

the defense you face prepares for you and knows how to stop you better but as a back up they focus on the starter and you coming in could catch the defense off guard out of position.

some running backs my not run as effective as they take hits and punishment as a running back, others start slow and get better.

TM will get a good amount of carries, he will be a big part of our offense, BUT he can't do it himself if LF gets a couple carries in the Wisconsin game they will shut down our running attack. KH did nothing this year, even in JH best games he needed other backs to take carries. This is why I say LF will get more than KH but not more than Magee we need him to come in successful quick because we play Wisconsin and without a running attack our offense will struggle greatly.

Leonard Fournette will START vs Wisconsin and run for 140 yards on 20 carries and 2 tds.......he will also catch for 60 and 1 td and the LEGEND of #Buganation will rightfully begin.

I most certainly did not have Hill as the 8th best RB in the class. I posted what CBS had listed as rankings. I said this is a deep class for RBs and there are many RBs that are talented. The only comment I made in terms of ranking is that I don't think he is the best available RB in the class. NFL.com disagrees. Kudos to you for pointing that out.

Our main debate was draft position. Just because NFL.com ranked him as the #1 RB doesn't mean he will be the first RB off the board.

I'm done arguing this

LF is essential to our offense from the first game

TM is good but not good enough to carry our offense on his back

if Jennings or some other QB struggle like he did against Iowa you better hope our Defense played like they did in 2011 and 2012. Hill was a huge part in winning that Iowa game without him we may have lost to them. If LF or KH don't have significant carries that are productive we will struggle on offense.

Magee was every bit as exciting in 4a ball as fournette.

Offensive player of the year and stuff.

Nah, I fear (not really) a self inflicted letdown on the rant.

You aren't paying attention then, I live in Aggieland and they already know who Leonard Fournette is and they are afraid.

Magee 3* running back not nationally ranked vs Fournette 5* RB top at his position by pretty much everyone top 5 by everyone and #1 overall by a couple of recruiting sites.

Fournette > Magee (Magee gets more carries because he has developed as a college player but fournette has to adjust)

If by mid season Magee still gets the majority of the carries we will struggle on offense.
