It is possible, but even though September's schedule was brutal, there was only one SEC team, and a weakened one at that. We must remember our own boasts that the SEC is the toughest conference in the country, and even the most talented team can tumble in this league. Possible, but hardly automatic.

I think our team is equal to the challenge of Bama. Biggest challenge we have there is playing Bama in Bama with the refs as their 12th man... We get through that unscathed, we go all the way untouched. Hell, Auburn was undefeated last year. *Auburn*, and the biggest thing they had going for them was Cam. This team is so much more than just one standout player.

Unlikely

win it all?

More likely, but still a long shot - way better than anybody not currently in the top 10.

False.

LSU vs Florida 2005....where we had like 5 turnovers.

I believe it as far as the talent and character of the team being good enough to do it, but mindful of the strong competition ahead.

As much as that has happened to us over the course of Les Miles' career at LSU, for some reason I believe that we can win every one of our games this year. We might have some "luck" along the way but this team feels different than any we've had since Miles got here.

It's like the team and the coaches are on the same page and they are responding to each other in a very positive way and getting it done. After last year and the near losses and the mistakes that led to those losses, I think this team is more focused on winning each game, one at at a time.

I think it was a good thing that the defense got barraged by West Virginia in this game to shoot down any over confidence they might have had for dominating the first 3 games. It was still a great win but they now know that they have to continue to work hard, get better and stay hungry, not be complacent.

We've continued to improve on offense, our o-line finally feels to me that it's solid if not spectacular and that we have real depth there for the first time in a long time even without Josh D for this season. We've gotten some incredible recruits these last two years that are contributing immediately and making big impacts, Tyrann, Simon, Eric Reid, OBJ, Freak to name some. Combine that talent with the veterans, getting stars like Montgomery back and having the likes of Bennie Logan and Shaw stepping up on the lines is a great recipe for continued winning this season.

No doubt that our hardest games are in front of us with Florida, Alabama, Arkansas but I just seeing us able to win those games this year. They'll be hard fought games but I do believe that we can win them.

Who would have thought that Auburn could go undefeated last year. They barely made it happen with a ton of close games, but they did. Could this be the year that we finally go undefeated? I hope so, it's time for that to happen for this team and for our coaches!

The fact that Florida and Arky are at home is big. Bama is a game that I think we may lose. I'm pulling for Bama to have 1 loss by the time they play us because I think that would relieve some of the pressure off of our young team. The hype of 2 undefeated teams playing each other in November would be fun but pretty daunting as well. Also, if we're still #1 by then, the Tennessee game at Rocky Top could be tough for us. It seems like we can never put them away.

I could see Florida beating Bama. Then we beat Florida and lose to Bama. I don't want that to happen, but very well could happen.

we had a pretty "off" day offensively and still crushed oregon.

defense gave up 500 yards and we still crushed wvu.

this team can win multiple ways, thats very important.

we have as good a chance to go undefeated as any sec team.
never thought of it this way. Well put. Who the hell would want to coach against miles this year? The answer is no one. He is pulling out all the stops. The gambler is back

I believe LSU will probably slip up and lose one game during the regular season. The game ? Alabama.

You can never write off a Saban coached team. It doesn't matter if they play with a bunch of underclassmen or not. This November 5th matchup will go down as the college game of the year. I am not making any excuses but I truly believe that referees can determine the outcome of this game. I surmise that this is what comes with "homefield" advantage. I hate to say the conspiracy word so I won't. I truly believe Les Miles and LSU cannot let this game come down to the last 5 minutes and a questionable call. We know that the officals will screw LSU and would probably screw Alabama if this game were in Tiger Stadium. This kind of human judgement makes me nervous and pissed at the same time.

We shall see what unfolds a month from now.
