I remember i was one of the very few to have faith in Jordan jefferson, each game i just knew would be his breakout game, i just knew he would get to the ranks of what Jamarcus Russel was.. Boy was i wrong

But do you have faith in Mett to improve next year and lead this team to a championship possibly. Or do you think we need to start a new qb next season, if so who?

As long as we run the option with him, I will always have faith.

No doubt. His protection is what highly concerns me after the Clemson showing

He's proven nothing really, yet. So no.

Not unless Stud can gain some coaching ability overnight and actually coach a good oline up...

I got faith in Mett as long as we have a good line to give him time. That being said, we need a good back-up.

Starting a new quarterback next season if Mett is still here would be ridiculous and insane.

Mett just needs to work on his touch this off season and he'll light the league on fire. His arm strength is elite.

He has definitely shown that he needs a lot of time to be effective. But he had a few flashes of brilliance last year. IDK, I'm on the fence.

With a good offensive line, yea, I'd put him up against anybody...except JFF.

He torched The back half of the schedule. Yes I trust him

I have faith in the offensive line but not as much as I'd like.

I'd have more if he didn't overthrow the ball for half his passes.

That option call in the Ole Miss game is glaring proof that our play calling and coordination is beyond repair.

Anybody who could even have that in the playbook, practice it, and call it in a game, is not credible.

Mettenberger almost lost from the knee down on one leg on that play. I was truly embarrassed for our staff, witnessing this.

I know i'll get slammed for this, but NO, I do not have faith in ZM and here is why......

He has not shown any significant signs of being a leader on the offensive side of the ball.

He is one dimensional and cannot elude or escape the grasp of a sloth.

His passing ability and accuracy is mediocre at best.

I do not think that there is much more than ANY offensive coordinator or QB coach could do to enhance the ability or productivity of ZM.

Would like to see a new OC come in and have a true open tryout for the starting QB roll in the Spring and Summer. I was definitely wrong about Mett so far. I thought he was going to be very strong last year and he had some moments but overall still got lots of questions.

I didn't realize just how slow and unathletic he was until he played a few games this year. That's not his fault but doesn't help when he needs to improvise and can't run for a few yards.
