He’ll beat you either way you play him. Soft coverage allows him underneath and middle of the field… man gives him deep shots. He’s 25 ffs and should be in the league lol.

So let him keep your defense on the field for 14 play drives instead and have them completely exhausted by end of game while their defense stays fresh. Got it…

The DB bit on a fake and the safety was late. I would've rathered do that than let them go 7/7 on 3rd downs in the first half being scared.

I agree with this sentiment, my point is UF has gone full tilt at him all game. He will torch you that way too. It should have been way more mixed than just one way or the other.

That’s really interesting, bc the game plan went fine. My point is you need to mix the two. Man/drop 8/all out, make him think more.
We just didn’t hold them to field goals once in the red zone area.
Our offense didn’t get going until 12 min in the 3rd, which also why we gave up 24 in the 1st
And only 8 in the 2nd.

How many times did we punt in the First half. Football is a 3 phase sport.

You have to pressure him and be creative about it. If he can read the defense before the snap, he’s good at adjusting.
When he didn’t know where it was coming from, it shut them down.
Florida is getting predictable in their pass rush and then not playing the edges when he’s in pass plays.
UF doesn’t have the defensive talent of LSU either, so it’s going to depend on how they adjust moving forward.
Also didn’t help they got away with a false start in 4th and inches, but it’s been obvious who the officials, especially the line judge are going for.
The number of spots with near lay an extra yard given to Ole Miss has been absurd.

First half: LSU punted three times Ole Miss punted once.
Half time score 24-7. The defensive plan sucked in the first half. They scored immediately after our 17 play TD drive.
