Using the word "we" implies all of us. So how would any of us be able to answer whether everybody else (including yourself) still hate USC?

It's just a simple question and I don't think he meant it as a blanket statement. If you like USC just say it.

Totally indifferent to the Trojans since they got the penalties they deserved.

Would love to play a rubber match with them at some point. Series tied 1-1 as it is.

but it is time to let the insecurities go. Some of you guys have a real character flaw here:

And some of you guys have a real intelligence flaw here if you can't see that it isn't a hate based on insecurity. With the decade that LSU football has had, and the history of our baseball program there is nothing to be insecure about unless you question our basketball program. With all of the obnoxious media attention, the manner in which the institution handles it's matters (2004 NC, 2004 Bush era, 2010-11 appeal of punishment, and more), and the superiority complex of the some of the most arrogant fans in college football (one of the best reasons of all), can you give any reason to like USC? I haven't seen anyone that has given any reason but to hate them. And I don't buy the BS line of "Why hate a tradition rich program that produces so many NFL players? When they are good, it makes college football good." How are the players coming from there making college football good? This statement makes absolutely no sense. Also, if the players aren't coming from there, they WILL come from someplace else.

...Just wondering what the mood of LSU fans was.....

To hate you have to have an emotional attachment of some kind.

I don't and never did.

Why should I? LSU had what they wanted, the BCS NC. I would rather have that 1,000,000 times more than a AP anything.

They were the media darlings much like Duke in basketball, ND, the Rose Bowl, and the Big 10.

That's life in the sports world.

I just get a real kick out of LSU and the SEC owning the Darlings cause I know it eats at them.

Yep, them and the Ohio State University too! Altho I do not like Clemson, BC, or PSU much either

Definitely agree with Texas Tiger on including the Ohio State University.

Us older LSU fans disliked Ohio State long before USC.

I don't hate USC

I hate some of the smarmy douches who over-hype them all the time... but then most people outside of the south feel the same way about teams from the SEC

At least they are still a relevant program... them getting pub is nowhere near as undeserved as Notre Dame
