Of course not, unless Alabama was trying to get him.

Seriously, I don't think Gump Central can tell LSU who they can and can't hire.

All these threads are dumb! The offensive coordinator is not going anywhere! He’s not getting fired, demoted or anything else. Ensminger will be offensive coordinator next season. It’s dumb to keep starting threads like this getting everyone’s hopes up

We can dream, can't we?

WHY ARE YOU KILLING OUR DREAMS, DEBERRY?!

In O’s defense, sometimes a dumpster fire can be amazing to watch.

Where is that narrative coming from? Everything I have read about the two shows that they are old friends and have a lot of respect for each other.

Freeze was told by the SEC to set out a year and try and get job in 2019. I heard he’s been to 3 SEC schools within the past month LSU being one. Freeze is working for some other league right now but I hear Auburn will hire him after this season.

The powers that be did not want Hugh Freeze associated with LSU. Ed tried. He was flat out told no. Ensminger didn’t really want the job. But, he is all LSU. He will do what he feels us best for LSU. At the time, that meant taking the OC job. If Ed were to be able to convince the powers that Freeze is the right choice, Ensminger would gladly step back into his previous role if asked to stay.

Auburn isn’t going to get Freeze, nor is anyone else for foreseeable future. Same thing with Art Briles. They have too much baggage for a major college program to take on. LSU would be put under a microscope by NCAA and news coverage would be brutal. Freeze should hope to get a small college job and rehab his image.

That’s bullshite

Briles oversaw a years long campaign to cover up rape.

Freeze called a hooker and got caught paying players because of bad luck.

If LSU hires freeze tomorrow, we should throw a parade.

The bottom line is that Orgeron promised to fix the offense by bringing in the best OC he could find. He ended up with Ensminger because he did not interview anyone else. He broke his promise and should be held accountable. We are literally watching Miles/Cameron 2.0 unfold. Orgeron hand-picked Ensminger, therefore their wagons are hitched together. Orgeron is putting his own desires ahead of what's best for the program. If Ensminger fails, he will take Orgeron along with him, and rightly so.

I respectively disagree. Don't think he really wanted the job. I really believe he will give Coach O an out with his retirement. I totally respect his dedication as a Player and a Coach for the Tigers. Next Man Up!
