Williams also had some quality runs and did block well when necessary. Overall LSU Guys did well.

The terrible thing is we did literally nothing to upgrade our ability to help develop Brennan or LN.

Tell me........how did Manziel and Winston win Heisman Trophies after being redshirted as true freshman? Go look up who the offensive coordinators and QB coaches were.

said Kirk is a 1st round pick, but my point is that Chark with some coaching up that he didn't get at LSU could be just as effective in the pros as Kirk

Chark is more of a Mike Wallace and Kirk is a Steve Smith. Terrible comparison. I’m taking Steve Smith all day

That last pass by Tanner Lee was bad I think because of that pass rush, but I was hoping that LSU would sign Lee when he was looking around for another school last year, but they passed on him going with Etling. But Lee can sling a ball, I watched him at Tulane, he throws lasers, but can get in a funk sometimes.

Tanner Lee is a turnover machine.

everyone that has watched lsu should now that Chark can be a big play target if the qb can get him the ball.
just think when he gets to the NFL and he gets actual all day coaching and stops leaning in and out of his breaks.

Craig and ball have done just fine everywhere they’ve coached, and you all were happy when they came aboard.

Maybe. But he’s extremely overrated. Not first round worthy. Barring injury, Chark will have better career in nfl.

I live in the Richmond area and they literally play in a high school stadium and yet they are developing QBs better than LSU. Pathetic!

Can LSU hire Richmond's QB coach? I'm sure he will make more as an LSU coach, than he will as a richmond coach.

Canada's system didn't allow for DJ's talent potential. Enslingers would have.
That's why we're getting 5 star receiver recruits even with an already loaded receiver group

All he needed was a mediocre quarterback

Are you using two freak athletes as an example of why development isnt always necessary?

I think it's very likely DJ Chark WILL have a better NFL career than Kirk. Chark reminds me of Brandon Lafell in that he was a raw talent that came on at the end of his college career and was limited by anemic QB play. I expect Chark to have some of the best combine numbers and may bust into a high 2nd round pick, maybe even higher than Kirk.

4 recs 147 yds and a TD. Just caught a 75 yd bomb recently. Go tune in on NFL Network folks!!!

This is the difference between being a Tiger and playing on a scholarship until you leave for the draft. Mad respect for DJ Chark. I hope he goes high in the draft and makes himself some money.

Amazing what happens when he has a QB that can throw the ball axcurately.

While true let me add:

This is an all star type game. Exhibition. We have seen this for years in many sports.

DJ is a great long ball threat. And a very poor route runner.

Let him show himself in the NFL before we get too excited.

No one could ever convince me his eyesight isn't fricked in some way. He just didn't adjust to balls well and consistently misjudged punts.
On many mif/long passes he just flat out took the wrong angle to the spot.
