All that matters if the rumors are true is that all jobs or roles contain guidelines to operate within. Consequences for going outside these guidelines are known. My job has rules on what I can do and if I break them, I won't be allowed to do my job.
It seems like a simple concept.
It's really not a legal vs. illegal issue.

I don’t see what the point of s suspension is if you can decide to cancel it based on if you need the guy or not.
Because it's a dumb reason to suspend him, so why not make it fit what you need?

Correct. These are new, but I don't know to what extent they are being used by law enforcement.

Or you could just not suspend him at all?
I would actually see that as a more progressive stance than a fake suspension.

It’s university policy, has nothing to do with Ed.

No i just want you to articulate the difference between psychological dependence and physical addiction, and then admit that, while alcohol causes the latter, marijuana does not.
You first define physical addiction, and then I will explain why the difference is not as clear as you believe. That would save us both a lot of time.

Having physical side affects from withdrawal, ie. cold sweats, vomiting, fever, aches, pains, etc. Do not dispute that alcohol causes these side affects, and do not dispute that marijuana does not

suspension is a punitive action. What's the punitive nature of the action if you're telling the player you'll still get to play in the most important moments?
Because the suspension is dumb.
The HC deeds to.play him all he can.
Or do like Saban and suspend for a half

Straight up. I smoke hi-grade every day, and have done so for the past 20 years. Just went on a two week business trip, where it was not accessible. I just focused on work and had no issues.
Wen out each night and had a nice meal, then went back to my hotel room and got a nice night's sleep.
So addictive!! When it comes to cannabis, it's the person, not the substance. You might be mature enough to handle it, but you might not. It all comes down to self-discipline, much like many things in life.
I know that it's more comfortable for a lot of people on this forum to fall back on dated social mores, but if you are one of those people, you are flat out wrong.

Oh I agree, there is probably just some language somewhere with compliance that requires it, but because they think it's a bogus suspension they play the loop hole.

Maybe not. But if given the opportunity to play him in big games, the staff should.
