Disastrous way to close out this season, but we should be proud of this team

Picked last, finished 10th (in one of the best sec seasons ever)
Beat some very good teams
Energized fan base
Got to the NIT (most would have taken this right away 1 year ago)
Won NIT game
Coaching staff has recruited their asses off. Let’s hope the influx of talent leads to much better defense and rebounding.
This game won’t define this team. I’ll think of the great wins and the signs of a culture change. Feels good to be optimistic.

No doubt, it was a helluva year one.
Some ups, some downs, much expected in year one.
Big things on the horizon.
Wade has energy and fire we've not seen in a while.

I turned it off at 43-18 because I didn't want to remember them that way. This team played hard just about all of the time. They just weren't able to defend well individually or as a team because they don't have the athletes. Proud of the way they played though. This will be one of my favorite teams.

I missed one home game this season. It was a hell of a lot of fun. Ready to support Wade and the boys next year. Geaux Tigers.

I just hope this team can win some on the road next year. Down the stretch, we’ve been too much like those Arkansas teams in the recent past where their IQs seem to drop anytime they play on the road, particularly in conference play.

I’m sure we’ll have our peaks and valleys with so much youth especially early on in sec play. Gotta take care of business at home.

Can we please get a sticky where it reminds skeptics our defense was ranked in the 320's last season?
Also, last season was our worst season in 60 years.
The defense should improve, and Will deserves a pass to have at least one fricking year to fix it.

Good year considering LSU's dearth of rebounding and low post presence.
Exchanging Williams and Reid for Epps and Reath is going to help low post defense and rebounding tremendously.
I think LSU needs to go out and get another big though. Especially with Kiir being iffy.

Why didn't Wade utilize his timeouts at the end of the game?!

He used them all shoving his azzhole in ULL's face.

I think because his arse was shown against UL...What comes around, goes around....

ULL's coach asked for it and then acted like he was going to go after Wade after he called the timeout. It was all immature, but come on.

LSU assistant coach started the issue, and then Marlin reacted....Why would Wade even call the timeout? True Sportsmanship from LSU...As always....

Why did Wade have to walk across all the way to the Cajun bench before the game to shake hands? Why didn't Marlin meet him at half court? Marlin ran his mouth before the game and got what he deserved. A 35 yr old showed him up

"They don't want to (schedule) us. They probably didn't really want to play this one, to be honest with you." - Bob Marlin, Head Coach of ULL Basketball
"Bob Marlin just dodged Will Wade in the handshake line."
You were saying something about Sportsmanship?
