Emery Jones has been a very dominant run blocker going back to his freshman season. So these numbers are baffling. But, again when you replay the runs you see our interior struggles to create any movement.

Also going to say it, Emery Jones has hurt his draft stock this year. He needs to come back and play guard.

you think coming back and playing guard is going to improve his draft stock?

I agree, stop running the inside zone read with a non running quarterback, against elite SEC defensive ends its a walk in the park for them when they can ignore the pull from the QB.

I wish this board would stop with the muh stop running read option with a non running quarterback.

It's making the fanbase look retarded at this point. The only thing that's worse is when they refer to it as an RPO.

Our fanbase thinks that you should recruit a phenom dual threat qb to make up for the lack of talent on the offensive line instead of just recruiting good offensive linemen that can run block and pass block….

That has been the problem at LSU and it continues to be the problem at LSU….square pegs into round holes….the tanm game just exposed it….they couldn’t run block Nicholls…..why would you think it would be different against a good sec defense?
