If Tebow leaves we pretty much might have the 2nd best QB in the league.

Mallet is up there too, but you can't even name who will start at a couple schools

He's started 2 1/2 games.

Most of the other schools QB's will have started 0 games. 2 and 1/2 > 0

And Lee started 3/4 of the season, so naturally he's > than JJ.

2 1/2 starts doesn't really mean shite.

I'd take a QB who's started 2 1/2 games and looked pretty good, has a whole summer to improve. Over some guy who has yet to take a snap in the SEC. We saw how that worked with JL.

Who started off very well in his first few games as a QB at LSU, only to get worse and collapse.

People are really putting too much stock into JJ at this point.

How do you start 1/2 a game?

Like I said would you rather put stock in JJ, or a kid who's never played a down in the SEC. I'm not asking if you're buying the JJ hype. You can't put any of these QBs who haven't played ahead of JJ. I'm saying going into the season you've gotta rank JJ ahead of much of the SEC. I'm sure you still think we lose @ UGA.

App State
North Texas
Auburn
Miss State

Those are the only games JL looked decent to good in. Notice the teams.

These are his two starts. Lee played the same or better against these teams than JJ did against Ark and GT (his two starts). The LSU team played better against GT than any other game this season as well.

No, I'm not saying you should have him above those new guys, but you're saying he's pretty much the 2nd best QB in the SEC. He could get injured. He could get replaced. He could bomb early on.

It's the fact that you sound so sure that he's #2 that I'm arguing. Also, I think Hartline at UK has shown more early on than JJ, especially considering the talent he's playing around. I also believe John Brantley is a better QB than either.

JJ is a good looking QB, but he isn't some stone cold lock for #2 in the SEC.

I don't sound so sure, All I said is going into next season he's actually one of the better and more experienced QB's in the league. Alo Hartline at UK is god awful, I'm not done with argument with you making that statement.

Edited to say, By the way JL didn't start @ AU

Tebow is not going anywhere ... I just don't think he projects that well to the next level. He's a very good college QB because of his ability to run the ball, which in turn makes his passing game better. I don't see him being able to do the same in the NFL ... at least not for long.

Sorry, I think we have to deal with him for one more year.

Yes.... but w/o several key players on offense who will graduate or go to the NFL and a change with the offensive coordinator how much will that hurt them??

People, with all due respect to J.J., he has one good half against a suspect defense.
